During the winding process, the tape needs to be stretched to 3/4 of the original width. In key positions, the EPR tape can be stretched to the verge of cracking for winding. This will not change its physical and electrical properties. Don't need to stretch that long. When finishing, press the tail for a moment (squeeze it in the direction), and finally wrap 2 circles of PVC adhesive tape on its outer layer as a mechanical protection layer.
